Kindilan tailors outdoor education packages for schools, corporate groups, community and special needs groups. We offer full conference facilities, professional catering and accommodation options for over 300 people on site. We also offer campout and cooking experiences, as well as off-site expeditions for increased challenge for participants.

Kindilan focuses on achieving specific outcomes set by your group such as teambuilding, leadership and promoting self-esteem. Facilitators encourage Challenge by Choice in all activities, providing participants with chances to grow and learn from their positive experiences.

Kindilan Outdoor Education and Conference Centre was recognised in December 2007 as a centre embracing best practice through achieving the nationally recognised Australian Camping Accreditation. We are proud to be accredited by the Australian Camps Association Camping with Confidence Accreditation program. Accreditation indicates that we have been independently appraised and meet the core requirements for the safe and reasonable operation of a camp or outdoor activity provider. We are one of two campsites currently in Queensland who hold this recognition (10th Jan 08).

Kindilan also runs a range of holiday programs for youth between the ages of 4 and 18. These programs are designed to give participants a taste of adventure whilst focusing on team building and positive interactions with others. Staffing Excellence:

Kindilan manager Rebecca Fox received a scholarship from Australian Camps Association to become a trainer in the 'International Camp Directors Course' (ICDC)  in  Hong Kong in November 2011. It was a great success with Bec receiving the highest trainer level as “Lead Trainer”. Bec joins one of 12 Lead Trainers in the world and will join a team of 7 Australians who will deliver the course through Australia, Asia and Internationally. This is a very significant endorsement of Bec's professional knowledge and training abilities. Bec continues in 2013 as Kindilan Manager but will also be branching out and developing business plans for other Guide Qld Campsites in the State.

All of Kindilan's outdoor educators have a minimum of Certificate IV in Outdoor Recreation. Many staff have current competence and certification along with managment sklills backed by Degrees, Masters, Diplomas and certificates. This team at Kindialn are certainly well qualified. Bec (the Kindilan Manager) ensures that only the best qulified staff are recruited. Being 'good enough' is simoply not good enough. Bec staffs exceptional people so you can have a service that excfeeds your expectations.

Jupiter's Casino Benefit Fund:

We have completed our Jupiter's Casino Community Benefit Fund projects! You will notice the abseil tower has had an upgrade with new shade sails and soft fall along with some sheeting being replaced. Our new rafting shed and embarking area was opened for use in 2012.

Child Care Benefit:

Kindilan has been offering parents the Child Care Benefit rebate for our youth holiday programs. Eligible parents receive a discount off normal program costs depending on their CCB percentage; this has been successful and great news for parents.
