Current Fire Conditions

Currently, no fire restrictions are in place.

Fire Safety

As you may be aware, Brisbane and South East Queensland can experience very dry seasons, especially from August to November. The Cleveland Fire Brigade is our advisor and we implement fire restrictions on the property when there is a risk of fire.

Fire restrictions include:

    Do not light any fire on property.

     Do not light fires in buildings.

    Do not smoke in bush setting.

    Only smoke in car parks, concrete areas, road or at laundry area. Do NOT smoke in buildings.

    Do not leave any mirrors outdoors.

    Cook only on gas BBQ or small gas stove.

    Cook only on gravel or rocky areas.

    Prefer outdoor cooking in Tilley and Gunyah shelters.

Everyone is responsible to adhere to the fire restrictions when a Kindilan Fire Ban is in place. No-one is to move from regulations unless with permission from the Kindilan manager.

When a regional TOTAL FIRE BAN is in place, there is no flexibility.
