For your information, the About Us page has a Kindilan DVD showing footage of the site and our services, and introduces many staff at Kindilan including the manager Rebecca Fox. Similarly, it contains information about our philosophy, risk management procedures and our great range of adventure activities.

A bit about our services:

We aim to exceed your expectations by delivering exceptional quality in all of our services including catering, accommodation, adventure activities, outdoor education programs and specialised programs.

Kindilan tailors programs and services to over 13,000 clients per annum with approximately 24,000 visitor nights occupied, including Guides. We proudly provide outdoor education programs to over 9,000 of these visitors, both on and off site. We attract a large range of school and community groups, as well as corporate guests. Our clients come from as close as Redland Bay and as far abroad as Asia and America.

Kindilan is owned by Girl Guides Queensland and has been operational as a professional outdoor education and conference centre since April 1999.

We hope that you can share with us in celebrating the spirit of Kindilan (meaning 'joyful place') and maintain your support to the centre. Kindilan operates as a not for profit centre and it is with community support that the centre continues to grow and provide such outstanding services.

Kindilan celebrates with Girl Guides Qld their 100th birthday and Year of the Girl Guide 2010.

Kindilan offers a variety of exciting programs for youth of all ages. The activities are tailored to suit the needs of the group and the individual, but generally focus on leadership skills, team building and having fun in an outdoor setting.

Please note that Kindilan is non-denominational and we can cater for all diets.

Teen Discovery Program

Next Teen Discovery: September 2010

A wonderfully engaging program for teenagers with a wide range of adventure activities and other interesting mediums (art, circus, yoga). This program focuses on personal development and teen qualities. Teenagers will leave this camp begging for more, and we welcome back all previous participants. Parents and teenagers notice a huge differennce in their behaviour, attitude and values. An awesome program with outstanding outcomes.

Kindilan OECC was recognised in December 2007 as a centre embracing best practice through achieving the nationally recognised Australian Camping Accreditation. We are proud to be accredited by the ACA's Camping with Confidence Accreditation program. Accreditation indicates that we have been independently appraised and meet the core requirements for the safe and reasonable operation of a camp or outdoor activity provider.
